As the title have shown, it's a guide to grammar and writing. You can serch topics from different levels such as words, sentence, paragraph... or click on the index to find a very useful alphabetical index list. For a more composition oriented reference, go to Principles of Composition.
OWL--Online Writing Lab
Purdue's OWL offers a website with materials and resources including handouts, materials, and resources for students and teachers:
- general writing concerns (such the writing process and writing about specific topics)
- English as a Second Language (such as writing for an American audience and help with English conventions)
- grammar, spelling, and punctuation (such as commas and appositives)
- research and documenting sources (including MLA and APA styles)
- professional writing (such as resumes and cover letters)
- practice exercises that allow you to check your answers online

This website provides insight into the writing process, structural considerations (essay writing), and patterns of composition, for more advance learners.

International Children's Digital Library
The International Children's Digital Library (ICDL) is a 5-year research project to develop innovative software and a collection of books that specifically address the needs of children as readers. Interdisciplinary researchers from computer science, library studies, education, art, and psychology are working together with children to design this new library. With participants from around the world, the ICDL is building an international collection that reflects both the diversity and quality of children's literature. Currently, the collection includes materials donated from 27 cultures in 15 languages.
